February 2017, Angela Costley Harris announced a new inclusive position. In the past, we had no specific policy related to transgender students. If a student qualified to participate in the Panhellenic sorority recruitment process at their university, they were eligible for consideration as a member of Alpha Chi Omega. Many chapters and campuses across the country have requested more specific guidance and have indicated their desire to have the opportunity to consider transgender women for membership.

This Royal Albert Friendship Series Carnation cup and saucer features a red carnation pattern with gold trim and matching saucer. This was not an official china pattern for Alpha Chi Omega but was commissioned at the 1919 National Convention in Chicago, Illinois. This cup and saucer are on display at headquarters.
The 1985 National Convention was the centennial celebration for Alpha Chi Omega. This booklet was given in the registration packet to every attendee and featured not just the convention program but also the hopes and dreams of the organization for another 100 years.
